In Holland, almost all milk comes from Holstein Friesian cows. You know the ones. Pretty with a black and white pattern. Our milk comes from Jersey cows. They’re smaller and toffee coloured with soft white noses. Different cows make different milk. Jersey milk tastes different to that from Holstein Friesians and naturally contains more fat and protein. Hence, different cow, different milk.
