What makes a Jersey cow different from a Holstein Friesian?

Jersey and Holsteiner cows are two completely different breeds. Jersey cows are smaller in build, with a toffee coloured hide and soft white noses. They are curious, self confident and somewhat stubborn by nature and produce very different milk to that of a Holsteiner. Jersey milk contains more protein, more fat and tastes far richer and creamier than Holsteiner milk.
